Business Continuity Expo / Technology for Complaince Expo
In May 2003 IMP Events launched Business Continuity, the Risk Management Expo in conjunction with an online portal (Business Continuity Online) . Delivering 1940 (abc audited) visitors and over 75 exhibiting companies in March 2004 at the Excel Centre in London's Docklands, this event established itself as the UK's leading exhibition and conference addressing operational risk. Later, a complimentary product was launched to run alongside called Technology for Compliance. Together these events delivered over 130 exhibitors and over 3000 visitors in 2005.
After 3 successful years IMP sold Business Continuity and Technology for Compliance to Reed Exhibitions in March 2006.
AD:TECH London
IMP Events launched Ad-Tech London, under licence to DMG World Media. Ad-Tech focuses on Online Marketing. It first ran in September 2005 at Olympia delivering over 3000 visitors. As a result of this success DMG bought out the license to run the UK event in February 2006.
BCI Symposium / E2TRA Conference
IMP also ran a number of small focussed conferences on behalf of various associations including the Business Continuity Institute and the European Telecommunications Recovery and Resilience Association.
Kioskcom Europe
IMP Events has built up a successful relationship with JD Events, a US exhibitions company. Kioskcom Europe was launched in April 2006 under license from JD Events. Kioskcom Europe focuses on the market for Automated Self Service Solutions - a market that is growing at an estimated 30% per annum. The first event ran at London's Olympia on 8th - 9th November 2006 and delivered over 50 exhibiting companies and 1037 visitors. In 2008 it delivered just over 1360* visitors and 70 exhibiting companies. In November 2008, the entire share capital of Kioskcom Ltd held by the Directors of IMP Events was acquired by Philip Hunter.
E Commerce Expo
In September 2006, IMP Events launched E Commerce Expo - an exhibition and conference that focuses on the online transaction and e-commerce platforms. Online sales have been growing at around 30% per annum and now make up a significant route to market. The first E Commerce Expo took place in October 2007 and delivered just under 2443 (ABC Audited) attendees and 110 exhibitors. The 2009 event event delivered 4018 visitors, a 23% uplift on the 2008 figure. E Commerce Expo moves to Olympia for 2010.

E Commerce Expo North
In September 2008, IMP Events launched a sister event to E Commerce Expo, targeting E Commerce professionals who are based in the North of England. The first event which ran in June 2009 delivered over 40 exhibiting companies are around 850 visitors. The exhibition expanded in 2010 and took place at the Old Trafford Football ground. There were just under 50 exhibitors at this event and more than 970 people visited. E Commerce Expo 2011 takes place on 26th May and will be co-located with Technology for marketing and Advertising.

The board of IMP Events Ltd is made up of Clive Ellings, Graeme Howe and Justin Opie . Between them, they have over 25 years of exhibitions and B2B marketing experience. Having previously worked together for other organisations for over 5 years, they formed IMP Events in order to build B2B media products in new markets. Their expertise covers the following areas:
