AD:TECH is the leading exhibition and conference for the world of digital marketing. Having started as a small exhibition in San Francisco, the brand rapidly grew and expanded to Chicago and New York. In 2004, the owners, JD Events, started looking for opportunities to take the AD:TECH brand outside the United States.

Despite strong competition, IMP successfully acquired the license for AD:TECH in 2004 and secured Haymarket Publishing as media partners and London's Olympia for the exhibition venue. The sales team visited the AD:TECH exhibitions in Chicago and New York where they quickly established a rapport with the exhibiting community, many of whom went on to exhibit at the London show.
IMP arranged a high profile event launch, securing a cover wrap from the leading online marketing magazine - Revolution, followed by leaflet inserts, direct mail and email.
With aggressive sales and marketing activity, AD:TECH established itself as the leading exhibition and conference for online marketing in for the UK in its first year with over 90 exhibiting companies and over 3000 visitors.
AD:TECH London is now recognised as one of the most successful launch events of recent years.
In 2005, AD:TECH was acquired by the leading media group DMG World Media. After the 2005 event, DMG World Media acquired the UK license for AD:TECH and have followed a highly successful roll out campaign which has seen the AD:TECH brand extended around the world.
